Graham McLeod is a professional musician and music teacher based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2007, where he studied contemporary guitar, improvisation and composition. Since then his flexible and diverse expertise has been in high demand as both an electric and acoustic performer in a wide range of genres. He has toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe and Australasia with acoustic instrumental trio The String Contingent, singer-songwriters Kat Healy (Scotland) and Lucy Wise (Australia), and folk/funk group Modhan.
Graham has taught music classes, workshops and private lessons in a wide range of environments; from folk and world music festivals in New Zealand, to kindergartens, primary schools, high schools and colleges in Australia, community youth outreach programmes in Lesotho (Southern Africa), and prisons and music schools in Scotland. Graham has also held teaching positions with the City of Edinburgh Council and West Lothian College.
